Dear UASC Members and Shipwreck Enthusiasts,

There's only two weeks left to sign up for "Research & Discovery of Great Lakes Shipwrecks - Part II." On Saturday, Jan. 19, the UASC will welcome back Brendon Baillod, for the final segment of his seminar. Don't miss this opportunity to hear one our region's most notable experts talk about how to research, find and manage shipwreck sites. From research methods to the wide range of available resources, Brendon has much to share.

Whether or not you were here for Part 1 of the program last March, you'll take home a lot of very valuable knowledge. It's not only an opportunity to increase your personal understanding but also further the UASC's expertise in shipwreck research and interpretation. Internet research sites will be covered, so plan to bring along your laptop computer.

We strongly encourage everyone to join us on Saturday, Jan. 19th. See the attached seminar flyer for complete details and please register online in advance, so that we may make adequate plans and arrangements. Attendance is not limited to UASC members, so feel free to invite friends from dive clubs or historical groups either by word of mouth, email, Facebook or other social media outlets.

This year's seminar will also take place at the UIC campus, but at a newer, more modern classroom.
